An Artisan Baker in Navan

I am Eimear Reynolds and I am the baker and cake creator behind the artisan company that is Bakealicious. Bakealicious started in 2013 after graduating from the National Baking School of Ireland, Cathal Brugha Street.

The aim with Bakealicious is to be honest to our customers and this is why I only use natural ingredients that should traditionally be found in cakes and bread. Therefore you will not find any of our bakes will contain preservatives, synthetic flavourings, enzymes, stabilisers or any of those nasty things.

I use only spelt flour in all my bakes along with many Irish ingredients. My cakes tend to reflect the seasons therefore I provide an ever changing menu. Fruit pureés, which are made at Bakealicious, are used to colour and flavour icings for cakes, along with zest, juices, syrups and extracts. Jams and curds for cake fillings are also made by me for the cakes.

Bakes of the week

Of course we have the staples, rich chocolate brownies, chewy cookies, zesty drizzle cakes, warming ginger cakes and crispy cinnamon buns.

All our packaging is recyclable and even our washing up and cleaning products are eco-friendly and Irish.

Bakealicious believes that ‘Happiness is Homemade’ and aims to provide nostalgia in every bite
